Phyllis K. Moczygemba is a licensed chemical dependency counselor
AUSTIN, TX, October 28, 2010 /Human Resources PR News/ -- Phyllis K. Moczygemba, Clinical Program Director for the Austin Drug & Alcohol Abuse Program, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in program management.
After being personally involved with domestic abuse, Ms. Moczygemba developed her commitment to helping others find healthy lifestyles. As the director of her program, she oversees five counselors and two administrative staff members. She performs employee evaluations, handles hiring and firing, and manages a budget. With 24 years of professional experience, she has worked in her current capacity for three years.
In 2004, Ms. Moczygemba received a Master of Arts in criminal justice from Texas State University-San Marcos. She also holds a license as a chemical dependency counselor. She is a chairwoman on the board of trustees for the Hill Country Intergroup. She is also involved with Alpha Pi Sigma, Phi Theta Kappa, and the St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. In the future, Ms. Moczygemba hopes to become a published author.
The Austin Drug & Alcohol Abuse Program offers aids to individuals and families affected by addictive and compulsive disorders.
