Trasheda K. Toliver Honored by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Home Health Care

Trasheda K. Toliver was inspired by her own experiences in caring for her grandparents

MINDEN, LA, October 14, 2010 /Human Resources PR News/ -- Trasheda K. Toliver, Owner and Operator of Matters of the Heart of North Louisiana, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in home health care.

Trasheda K. Toliver embarked on a career in home health care in 2001, inspired by her own experiences caring for her aging grandparents. Two years ago, she decided to strike out on her own with the establishment of Matters of the Heart, a home care center that provides home health care, personal care and nursing assistant services to children and adults in residential settings. In charge of operations management, Ms. Toliver is responsible for supervising all employees, ensuring that they are properly trained and meet all requirements, and caring for people in need. She considers providing in-home care to senior citizens much like her own grandparents to be the most rewarding aspect of her work. She attributes her success to keeping her faith in God.

A graduate of The University of Louisiana, Monroe, Ms. Toliver earned her master's degree in 2002 and her bachelor's degree in psychology in 2000. She is a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. When she is not working, she volunteers with Vacation Bible School and True Vine Baptist Church. Within the next five years, Ms. Toliver aspires to open a medical supply store and an outpatient mental health agency.
