Barbara L. Donaldson celebrates 15 years of success in her career

    FREDERICK, MD, November 23, 2010 /Human Resources PR News/ -- Barbara L. Donaldson, Communications Specialist for the U.S. Government Account at Hewlett-Packard, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in communications management.

With 15 years of professional experience, Ms. Donaldson attributes her success to strong faith. As a communications specialist, she is responsible for acting as a liaison and point person for communications to employees who have transitioned to Hewlett-Packard from EDS Worldwide. She sends communiques to groups of employees to help them understand the transition process, human resource functions, dealing with new company infrastructure, etc.

Ms. Donaldson started her career with Xerox in communications and was with EDS for 10 years until late 2008 when it became Hewlett-Packard. She also taught as an adjunct professor at Monroe Community College. Additionally, she has published in the past as well as corporate articles within the company.

In 1998, Ms. Donaldson earned a master's degree in English literature from SUNY College at Brockport. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Alfred University, and holds a Lean Six Sigma certification. A member of the Maryland Writers Association, she was honored twice with the Spirit of Greatness Winners Circle Award by Hewlett-Packard.
