Human Resources Specialist Joins The Ranks Of Stanford Who's Who

POTOMAC, MD, November 6, 2010 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Stanford Who's Who welcomes Deborah E. Band to the ranks of leading professionals as a result of her phenomenal work in Human Resources. As a Human Resources Specialist for the Department of Homeland Security, Deborah has consistently demonstrated the vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be successful in the business world.
The Department of Homeland Security is responsible for providing immigration-related services and benefits such as naturalization and work authorization as well as investigative and enforcement responsibilities for enforcement of federal immigration laws, customs laws and air security laws.
During her educational career, Deborah earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sport Management and Communication from the University of Michigan in 1996, a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from KOGOD School of Business in 2004 and a Juris Doctor degree from the Washington College of Law in 2007. Deborah is also the President of the School of Kinesiology.
Deborah is a member of the University of Michigan Alumni Club. She attributes her success to her outstanding work ethic and determination. She demonstrated integrity and is a self-motivated individual who does not buckle under pressure. Deborah follows through on her responsibilities and always completes her work for the day before she leaves. In the time away from her demanding work schedule, she greatly enjoys playing soccer and watching sports as well as reading and writing.
