Frandata Releases Franchise Compensation Report

The "Franchise Compensation Report for 2011" was released today, just in time for the anticipated uptick in 2011 hiring decisions, announced FRANdata President and CEO Darrell Johnson.

ARLINGTON, VA December 10, 2010 /Human Resources PR News/ -- The "Franchise Compensation Report for 2011" was released today, just in time for the anticipated uptick in 2011 hiring decisions, announced FRANdata President and CEO Darrell Johnson.

This year's report provides the largest and most representative set of information since FRANdata started tracking franchise compensation three years ago. The report includes information from 169 different franchise brands collected from two surveys performed over the last fifteen months, and includes compensation details for 30 different positions at the C-Level, Department Head, Manager and Professional levels.

Insight and analysis is provided on job functions including salary average and ranges, starting base pay, commission or long-term incentives, and total compensation. Data is additionally grouped and analyzed by broad industry, population density, and revenue size of the franchise system.

"Over the last three years organization and compensation strategies have changed significantly as CEO's have found different ways to weather the credit crisis," explained Johnson. "The result is a significantly different compensation landscape, and the CEO who wants to be competitive needs to know the new pay scales that are captured in this report."

Some of the key findings from the franchise compensation report include that the average CEO total cash compensation is $340,460; the General Counsel received the highest average total cash compensation out of all of the department heads, which was followed by the Vice President of Site Selection and Pre-Opening Activities.

The Compensation Report is available for purchase online at http://www.frandata.com/shopping/products/ReportDetail.aspx?productID=28927. The cost of the report is $950.00 with 70 percent off the original price given to survey participants.

The survey was performed by FRANdata in partnership with AKRON Inc., a company specializing in compensation studies.
